The cottage sits at the foot of The Alton Barnes White Horse and is 200 metres from the Kennet and Avon Canal and Crop Circle Centre and Exhibition, it provides a relaxing haven for travellers exploring the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

The bedrooms are in the modern extension of the house and accessed by a private staircase. All are comfortably furnished with a Kingsize, double or twin beds, en suite facilities, a television and hospitality tray. There is a wide choice available for breakfast, which is served in the morning in the Oak Garden Room.

The house has ample car parking and secure storage for bicycles and equipment. There is a café and pub in Honeystreet a short walk away and Devizes is only 5 miles away with plenty of shops and amenities. The North Wessex Downs forms part of the unique chalk landscape of southern England and is renowned for its sweeping hills, unspoilt villages and stunning views. 4 miles from Avebury and 12 miles from Stonehenge.

"We were canoeing down the Kennet and Avon Canal, Well Cottage is only 400 meters from the canal. Very communicative and hospitable. Drove us to dinner pubs having made reservations for us. Very good wifi. Lovely breakfast."
